From wearing pants with just the belly bands to maternity clothes?
The belly bands are working for me, but I have some pants where the zipper is low and the belly band doesn't quite cover up that the zipper is unzipped (I can't even zip them a little bit anymore). I feel like 8 weeks is super early for maternity clothes, though.

It's going to be soon for me. I can't stand the belly bands and without them, my pants fall off. I'll probably have DH pull my bin of maternity clothes out this weekend.

I wear scrubs to work so that is a non-issue, but at home I'm wearing maternity pants/shorts and regular tops. At 10 weeks with my 3rd its already more comfortable.

I switched... today! A couple pairs of my regular pants still fit, but I'm really liking the support from the belly panel on the maternity pants. I feel like it's insanely early to be showing already, but my pooch has just kind of taken over!

Last week I bought 2 pairs of jeans (motherhood was having a B1G1 free sale), so I've been wearing those (under belly only) and I have 2 pairs of prepregnancy jeans that still fit. I'm also trying to get clothes I can wear not pregnant (I bought 2 yoga like skirts from Target )

I've never used belly bands, my jeans are getting snug now so soon I'll bring out my maternity jeans, and I have yoga pants with elastic bands for around the house.

I haven't bought a belly band, I'm a little big and I can't find my size and I think they look uncomfortable. lol. Since I feel so crappy I pretty much only go out of the house for work and I wear yoga pants to work and they of course fit. When I go out, I've been wearing stretchy waist skirts. I haven't had jeans on in a week or two, I don't know if they still fit. I can't wait to look pregnant and wear maternity clothes.

I am still good!! Still in my regular pants. With my last pregnancy my regular pants start getting tight at 9 weeks. At 9 weeks I had to start usuing the belly band. That worked for me until about 13ish weeks. At that pont I made the switch. Hoping for it to be about the same. Mainly because we haven't told the kids. I am hoping not to start showing sooner than my last pregnancy so that we can hold off telling them as long as we would like.

I'm the kind of girl that is really uncomfortable if I wear anything tight. My fat clothes already don't fit, so I purchase a couple of pants that are more relaxed fit. This should buy me some time.

I am down to my last pair of work pants and so glad I didn't throw them away when I lost weight. None of my jeans fit so I did buy new maternity ones along with work pants, don't think my olds ones will work as to wearing them every day. but will have to buy more as time goes buy. as for my beband, they aren't working as well anymore cause my pants hurt from the pressure it puts on my lower tummy.

I never really stopped wearing maternity from my pregnancy with my son... it's just so comfy Of course now, my pooch is growing a lot faster and my regular pants just suck now.

I am at my desk just thinking that it's so uncomfortable to sit. I wonder if it is the pressure of my pants...

I got all these comfy Spring skirts in the last week, and unfortunately it's like 40 degrees today. So when I am home I am wearing yoga capris, then squeezing into my jeans when I have to leave the house. I can't do that for much longer though. If I buy new jeans they will have to be maternity. So I'm holding off as long as I can. I was totally in maternity by 10-12 weeks with my first 2, so I figure another week or two won't be so bad.

I think maternity clothes are so comfortable that I’m going to skip the belly band and go straight to maternity clothes, as of now I still fit into all my pregnancy clothes. I think I’ll probably have to make that switch around the middle to end of April.

I'm not wearing maternity clothes yet, but I only have one pair of work pants & one pair of jeans that still fit... Other than that I have been wearing dresses & skirts to work. I am trying to make it a bit further before buying anything new.

Belly bands never worked for me last time so I think I'll skip them this time. I can't wear my normal pants comfortably and my left over maternity pants from DS are too big. So for now I'm either uncomfortable or wearing empire waist dresses. I just bought a few new maxi dresses tonight since I know those will last a few months. I do plan on buying some smaller maternity pants soon. I needed all maternity at 8wks with DS but I seem to be growing a little slower this time.

It depends on the pants for me. I have a couple of pants that I love and work well with my belly band, but I have other kind of not full blown maternity pants (like just a thin band of stretchy stuff, not the full belly cover) that work great too! Now that the bloat is gradually decreasing I will probably wear my belly band more often.
