For those of you who missed the discussion, it was decided to remove Autumn Angels, even though it beat Where the Wild Things Are because of the association with angels and miscarriage.

I think either Pumpkins or Precious Pumpkins should have been up there, but not both. If you add both votes for the pumpkin theme, you have the #2 spot. Just a thought!

Honestly, I didn't pay that much attention to the names when I was doing the poll, I was looking purely at the numbers. I guess that should have been consolidated better in earlier rounds. Thanks for pointing that out! I'll keep that in mind for the final round.

Just a thought. Should pumpkins and precious pumpkins be combined into one theme? They are so similar that it may split votes between them.

Personally I'm not either because it can alienate people who aren't a fan of the movie or book. For example, I don't care about Finding Nemo one way or the other. Not a fan, but I don't hate it either. But it is what it is.

Any theme can do that though. I really don't care for the idea of calling my baby an animal that I think is as ugly as a turkey is, but I can appreciate why others would like it. I would still be proud to be a member of this DDC even if it meant calling my baby a Tiny Turkey.

I know I've said it before, but I feel like the Turkey thing alienates us Canadians....our Thanksgiving is in October. So it has nothing to do with November for us. Just sayin'

I know that there are only a few of us Canadians here though....

Thank god it's not in the final 3.

Yeah, looks like between the two pumpkins you Canadians will be safe from the turkeys unless something drastic happens! I'm going to add up the two pumpkins as one for the final round. As of now it'll be Precious Pumpkins, Finding Nemo, and Lion Cubs as our final three!
