I just started it today at 4mg. For those who've taken it in the past or are now, how long does it take to feel the full effects? Did it help you immensely?

Ive taken it a few times. Sometimes it seems to help but not 100%. Other times just the taste of the Zofran makes it worse. Its best to take it just when Im feeling sick. If Im to far sick then it seems not to help.

I have been taking it, 4mg, and it helped ALOT, only negative is the major side effect is constipation, I got it so bad that it had been 9 days of not going. My dr told me to brake the dose in half. I did and don't take it everyday, but it has been 4 days already since the last time I went and nothing is working. Just beware of that if your taking it every 6 hours or even daily. Good luck

Even the 8mg dose doesn't help me unfortunately. Phenergan works better but it puts me to sleep

It's just insane how even a drug like this--for cancer patients--doesn't even help all women! If it were men suffering from MS, god knows they would've found a cure for this decades ago!

I just picked up my script for it today, but I'm nervous to take it.

How come? Side effects? I figure that even the worst constipation in the world would still be better than want to vomit every moment for the next 6 weeks.

It worked right away for me. I also had horrible constipation though. I never thought to connect the two. No other problems with it though.

I had it with pregnancies 2 & 3. I've had everything. I used dissolvable and it cut my vomiting by 2/3. I was vomiting around 30 times daily and this brought me down to around 8-12 times a day. Big improvement for me. I am horribly allergic to phenergan. I learned that with my first hospital stay.

Zofran was great for me. I was constipated though. Do your best to drink lots of water, fiber, and colace without stimulant.

I am afraid of side effects and I'm scared there is a possibility it could do something to the baby. I know that it's been used a long time, but I'm afraid that if there ended up being something wrong with the baby, that I would blame myself for using it--whether there was a connection or not. I would like not to think like that.

I've been taking it only when absolutely necessary.. Once two nights ago, and then tonight.. Just one pill.. I'm pooping fine..
I took them just to get through my work shift... Still feel sick, but not as bad.. which is awesome!!!

I feel the same exact way!! My dr gave it to me last week for my cruise next week and for the horrible nausea that I've been feeling, but I still haven't filled it for the reason above..
