I've been lurking and reading for a while, I got my bfp at 8dpo. I'm 7weeks 2 days today, and I had my first u/s yesterday...and we found out it's twins! I am beyond shocked. I have a daughter that just turned 4 and another daughter that just turned 2. We never entertained the idea of 4 kids, we were for sure stopping at 3, but I guess God had other plans.
The twins are di/di twins, which is good meaning they each have their own sacs and placentas. They were both measuring exactly the same at 7weeks 1 day yesterday, which was just one day off of what I was thinking. Baby A had a hb of 147 an Baby B had a hb of 153. I'm having another u/s a week from Monday with a maternal/fetal specialist to verify they are in fact di/di so i'll get to see them again!
DH and I are shocked but excited. I don't think it's still set in quite yet!
The only bummer is that my midwife doesn't do twin pregnancies, so she is going to have to refer me to an OB. I'm going to ask around my area for an OB who doesn't automatically think csection when s/he hears twins, I hope to have these babies naturally!

I was more active in the March 2010 PR and then we all moved to a fb group, so I haven't been on JM in a while!
Nora is good! She just turned 4 in February, loving preschool, and super excited about the babies! (she actually told me it was twins before the u/s which is crazy!)
we're good!! i tried to enroll Hunter into preschool this starting year but said he didnt make the cut off.. so he's not able to start until this Sept.. sucks!!
but otherwise we are fine!! this is our 3rd back to back pregnancy, had a miscarriage in Dec, and Jan as well.. we are still hanging in there so we are excited about that!
Welcome!!! My whole family keeps saying Im having twins but only one sac was seen on the last ultrasound. I think my husband is still hoping there is two. LOL
