Since it was unanimous so far as to the name and requirements, Amber and I decided to go ahead and get our private forum set up. I just created it and have requested it be made an official subforum for our group.

I've never seen the private group outside of the group itself before.. I've always seen it in the subforums at top with a password added.. I kinda prefer it that way because it's easy to find since we're already here. I don't think I have enough posts yet.

When I asked, they said it was easier for us to create this private group. I have requested to have a link in our forum to this, but it takes time. When I was checking to make sure I was creating the group the right way I saw quite a few DDC's private groups, so it just takes a bit of time is all.
To find out if you have enough posts in the DDC (you need 250) you search the forum: JustMommies Message Boards - Search Forums type in your username and in the menu click on the November DDC (it's automatically set to also search the subforums). Then search! It'll tell you how many posts.

they changed it from "private forums" to "private groups" instead a little over a year ago i believe... im not sure of the reason though.. but i remember when the idea was brought up.. we were asked what we preferred.. the majority went with the group instead of the subforum!... but i do like it being visible in the subforum for easier access!
