I'm so excited!!! I finally found an elective u/s place close to home! I have a gender ultrasound scheduled for May 18th! That's only a little over 2 weeks from now! AUGHHH!!! Sorry, I'm a little excited. The package I'm getting does the gender ultrasound at 16 weeks and then I get to come back later and do the full 3D/4D ultrasound later on. They said if they aren't 100% sure of the sex on the 18th, they will give me another ultrasound for free to double-check. Anyone else this impatient to find out the sex?

Yay! I tried to convince DH to do an elective at 15-16 weeks, but he refused, so I have to wait until July to find out.

I didn't pose the question to DH. I just told him when it was. He's already fussed at me for not being patient and just waiting until June so I wasn't going there!

I am so jealous and happy for you!!! I am super impatient, but DH refused last time. I haven't brought it up this time. I am just hoping they will be able to give me an idea at my u/s next week- I will be 13 weeks, 4 days...

Awesome! That's so soon!
My local elective place won't do it until 17 weeks because of accuracy. Since I will get my regular ultrasound at 19 weeks anyway, I don't think I will spend the extra $. Although I am DYING to know.
I had thought girl all along. Then for about a week I was really feeling boy. Now I'm back to having no clue. With DD2 I "knew" at this point she was a girl. I think I just need to prepare myself in case it's a boy. LOL

I have one May 14th. I will be 14 weeks and they say it is possible to tell then but then I get another us in June and and then the actually anatomy us in July. So at least we will no for sure after 3 us. Lol! It is so exciting.

My doctor will be giving me a quick one at my May 21st appointment (if she doesn't see it she won't wait though -- it's mostly to check that the pregnancy is progressing well)

Like some of the other ladies, my DH doesn't want to pay the extra money since we'll be getting one soon enough anyway... For us, we have one scheduled on May 29th.. I so can't wait either, i'm so excited... Hope your baby cooperates...

that is super great. I am going to ask at my next appointment next week when they will set up the appointment for that. I would love to do that, but I know DH would not want to pay extra $$ to get it done, he would just tell me to wait the extra two weeks. so I just have to wait.
