So DH and I have been married for 3 1/2 years. With baseball season here he has been really busy and with some needy players he can be up until 3:00-4:00 in the morning and only get 3-4 hours of sleep. So, needless to say, he has been super exhausted. He has about 8 days off until the next game and last night I could tell he was really tired. I woke up in the middle of the night (I am a very light sleeper) and DH was over by the window and walking around talking about how dark it was. I tried to ask him what was going on but he didn't really acknowledge me, just kept saying it was too dark to do anything. So, I flipped on the light (kind of freaked out as he has never done this before) and it was like it clicked... and he was awake. He got back in bed and I waited until he went back to sleep to go to sleep myself. About 2 hours later my DH is standing at the end of the bed pulling the covers off the bed and saying he needs to pack. Ok....now I am really freaking out that my husband is sleep walking, not once..... but twice! I flip on the lights again and he woke up. Bless his heart he was scared himself to go back to sleep. I just pray I get a good night sleep tonight!!

Wow! I used to sleep walk when I was little up until high school. I never remembered it. I fell and busted my chin and my sleep and got back in the bed. I woke up with my face bloody. I was so confused and my mom was so scared. I also went out our front door one time and we had 3 locks on the door. Luckily my mom heard me messing with the locks and asked me what was going on, and I mumbled something. She thought the neighbor was there and i opened the door and walked out. She followed and realized I was sleep walking and called me back and I came in and went to bed. I'm so glad none of my kids or dh has done it, it would totally freak me out!

my sister in law sleepwalks when i was younger i used to stay with them and she whould come and ask me if i wanted my eggs blue or red at 2am in the morning and all sorts of crazy things she used to rearange the house in her sleep so there were a few times id wakeup and all the paintings would be pulled off the wall or the things on the dresser whould be on the opposite side. It was freaky but its not really harmfull im not sure how becuse i caught her cooking while mumbleing about hateful pigs a few time but she never really hurt herself and the doctor basically said it was harmless they tried giveing her sleeping meds but they actually made her do it more frequently so he took her off and basically said if she hurts herself ill just fix it which she never really has.

I've only done this once that I know of when I was younger. I woke up in another room of the house and had absolutely no idea how I had gotten there. It's pretty scary for the person who does it and the person who finds them wandering around like a zombie! Now, I just talk in my sleep. DH is always telling me what I said the night before.

My little sister is a sleep walker. We were always finding her in different rooms from where she fell asleep. She will turn all the lights in the house on then go back to bed, or sit in the living room and watch tv in her sleep. She will come and start conversations with you about nonsense. The worst time though was when she woke herself up walking out of the house in the middle of the night with her car keys in her hands. She's married with a baby of her own now and still does it to this day.

It is definately scary. My 4 y/o, from what i have been able to tell, last night, he came out of his room and stumbled out, then he couldn't even stand. I caught him like 3 or 4 times before i made him sit down. He had like a blank stare and he couldn't form words even though he was trying to talk... Not sure if he was sleep walking or something else if going on, but from what i have been able to research on google, it was sleep walking. But it scared the crap out of me.
