This will be my last post as sadly I started bleeding two days ago. I was referred to my EPAC clinic yesterday morning. I was given a transvaginal scan and they told me that there was a fetal pole with a very very low heartbeat in a gestational sac but no yolk sac was visible. I was then referred to the consultant who diagnosed me with 'threatened miscarriage' and signed me off of work for two weeks. They have booked me in for a repeat scan in two weeks but she said that if I miscarry in the meantime and get a negative pregnancy test then I do not need to go back unless I want to. They were very sympathetic and understanding. Since returning home from hospital yesterday I have started bleeding heavily and cramping so in my heart I know that this is it for me. My husband has been amazing and supportive at this difficult time. As has our 13 year old son. I am truly thankful that I was able to have him as I know that we will not be going through ttc again.
Sorry if there has been tmi in this thread. I just wanted to say how nice it was to be a part of this group and to feel all of the support and advice and help that you lovely ladies have shared and given.
