Hi ladies. I'm kind of new here but have been keeping up with you all.

I'm going for my CVS test this afternoon and am feeling a little anxious. I went to Accupuncture this morning, which really calmed me down. But if anyone has any advice or positive CVS stories I would love to hear them!

Thank you in advance and I will post afterwards to let you all know how it went in case anyone is considering it.

No experience here either as I've always tried to avoid those tests. How far along are you? Hope it goes well and the results are good.

Thanks so much for the well wishes. It all went great and baby was doing acrobatics and had a great heartrate (170 bpm) before and after. I'll write more details about it tomorrow in case anyone else is doing it and wants to know.

Leanne, I was not excited to get the test for sure but because of my age (37, will be 38 when baby comes) and a past history of miscarriage due to chromosomal abnormalities it was the right thing for me. Some results I will get on Monday (including sex!) and the full report next Friday. I'm 11 weeks and one day today.

Ok more tomorrow and thanks again for all the prayers!

Glad everything went well and that baby is doing great! A bit jealous that you'll be the 1st to find out the gender! Lol but im happy for you and baby!

Glad it went well. Cant wait to hear what the babies sex is. Iwould love to hear more about the CVS and I might get it done. DH really wants me to but I dont!
