im curious about the old wives tale... with my first .. i had NOOOOO morning sickness at ALL.. with my 2nd, i was sick bad for til 25 weeks.. but i craved the same things with each... im not typically someone who likes sweets, but this pregnancy, it seems all i want is sweets... so how true was the old wives tale for ya? did you crave sours with your son, and sweets with your daughter??
im really anxious to find out what this baby is.. i love comparing how different/similar my pregnancies are
With Kylie I had close to no symptoms. In fact, the only symptom I had was aversions to certain smells. I craved sweet food so hardcore it was ridic!! I LOVED Oreos dipped in chocolate pudding and practically lived off chocolate milk. With both boys I experienced nausea (pretty rough with Cullen, not so bad with Mason but not fun either). I craved salty foods more than sour, but not really sweets at all. In fact with Mason I was very turned off by sweet fouds(seems to be the case this time too). This time my symptoms and cravings are following along with both boys, and completely different than my pregnancy with Kylie. I know each pregnancy is different, but these past 3 have been pretty similar (except for the nausea has gotten incredibly worse each time).
Now that I think about it I believe I did crave sweets with my daughter and more salty foods with my son. Right now i'm craving fresh fruits and vegetables.. but also crave sour.. so i'm at a loss of what i'm having this time.
i just have a feeling im having a girl.. but i think thats mostly based off of the old wives tales in the back of my mind LOL... my pregnancy this time, is SOOOO different, except the MS is similar to my last.. but what i eat is completely different.. and im hungry allllllllllllll the.time!
Well I only have girls, but with all 3 pregnancies I have craved sweets...especially chocolate milkshakes! I was barely sick with #1. With these last 2 pretty sick.
I don't know what I'm having this time yet though. Maybe boys like chocolate milkshakes too.
When I was preggo with DS I craved french fries with vanilla ice cream (I would dip the fries in ). With DD I craved chocolate milk with twizzlers... With Daniel, i didnt really crave anything... This time it's basically meats and Pepsi. I am not sure what any of that means though. I'll send you baby girl vibes if you send me baby boy vibes

For my 2 girls I was so sick the entire pregnancy.. For my DS I was still very sick, but had some relief here and there.... DD1 I craved snickers bars, and I normally hate snickers. DD2 all i wanted was Jelly Belly's, didn't really crave anything with DS but this time all I want are honey bbq chips... Not sure what i'm having yet this time, will find out on the 23rd.
My 2 girls I had pretty bad morning sickness, my 7th pregnancy was pretty bad to, i fact I convinced myself it was a girl because it was so bad, he's all boy though! Untill that pregnancy I believed you could tell by symptoms. This pregnancy I felt girl from the start, but now I'm thinking boy. My morning sickness started slower and hasn't been horrible, it's more a ton of aversians this time, which I haven't had before.
My first (DS) I was sick from 5 to 30 weeks, (vomitting 5 times a day), I got headaches more frequently and in general, felt horrible. My second (DD), I wasn't sick a single day, felt great (except for that preterm labor crap).
I feel exactly the same as with DS, except I can't bring myself to vomit. I want to all day, but I just can't do it. I will be so surprised if this ends up being a girl. (Only 1 more week, hopefully til I find out!)
I craved tons of sweets with my son. I had several yeast infections because I ate too much ice cream! I don't remember any real differences with the girls other than eating better in general.

I craved lots of sweets with my son and this pregnancy I am not too into the sweets and am craving salty foods all the time so I hope that is good news as I really want this one to be a girl.
I hope you don't mind if I share, I'm not preggers anymore, but from the September 2011 PR.
I only had ms with my girls. Never had a sick day with my boys. With my first daughter I craved fruits and veggies, and Whoppers from Burger King - once I was able to eat that is. I was sick until I was 14 weeks preggers with her.
With my second daughter I had an aversion to coffee, which I love, and craved yogurt, cottage cheese, bananas, and chocolate milkshakes.
I've only been pregnant once but with DS it was a walk in the park! No ms,headaches, food aversions or anything. I ate any and everything but I craved more spicy greasy foods but also had to have my fruits. Now with #2 on the way constant ms, headaches, food aversions, etc...not really craving much but I have noticed I've eaten sweeter things early on like candy, fruits especially strawberries and pineapples, ice cream sandwiches...lol but still want my BLTs and burgers and occasionally pizza and since summer is practically here BBQs!!!! Yum lol but my fingers are crossed that this time around its a girl!!!!
