That actually happened to a mom in Iowa. Pretty sure it was not that video but she put her child in the dryer and turned it on and let the child tumble around once because she said it was punishment for the child. She was actually charged with child abuse. I don't know what came about of it after that I just remember hearing it on the news that she was charged. Agree, parents should come with a license. It is just as bad as the guy they recently had on yahoo news that has fathered 30 children in the last 14 yrs by 11 different women, many in the same year and he is complaining that they are taking too much money from his check for child support and he would like it reduced. Some of the women only get like $1.50 a month in child support because he makes minimum wage. He had a hearing in 2009 for child support and told the judge that he wouldn't have any more children and then he had 9 more in 3 yrs. NINE!! There is also a problem with the women continuing to have children with this man.

I finally watched this today and it was awful. These people should not be parents. That child should not go home with people like that. My heart was breaking when they couldn't open the washer right away. so sad.

Ok I agree they never should have put the child in the washer its a risk that never should have been taken however they were not doing this on purpose. the guy was playing around with the kid and didnt relize those washers I have used 1 Before And hate them not only dont have a start button but dont allow you to open them untill the whole cycle is over. If you put the money in first it locks and starts as soon as you close the door no person whos never used 1 before would know that.

These arnt parents who threw there kid in a washer as punishment its a dad who was playing around with his toddler and freaked as soon as something went wrong doing everything in his power to fix it. A stupid mistake yes child abuse or something to be arrested for no.

This made me ill. Seeing the water coming in and it tumbling around and knowing there was a child in there was just too much. Thankfully, they got him out but in the article I read last night it talked about several cases where the child drowned in a washer. Just makes me want to cry. I can't handle stuff like this anymore since having my daughter.

Even IF the parents were playing around with the child - stupidity is not a defense for what they did. The child could have suffered major injury or even death. Granted, they might not have intended any harm - but putting a child in a washing machine can cause harm and anyone with normal intelligence would know that.

I cannot bring myself to watch that video but I also think there is NO EXCUSE EVER FOR PUTTING YOUR CHILD IN AN APPLIANCE. I don't care if you're "playing" with your child. APPLIANCES ARE NOT TOYS. I will judge anyone who puts their child in an appliance for any reason and will call the cops if I see it. UNEXCUSABLE!!!

I can't even watch but, I totally agree with you!

OH yeah the guy with 30 kids is a real gem! Hmm... you are making minimum wage and you can't pay for your 30 kids... really?! It didn't occur to him after say, I don't know 15 kids to quit knocking women up?
