Just curious as to when everyone is having their anatomy scan? Mine was originally scheduled at 19 weeks, but because of DH's schedule had it moved up to the day or 2 before i'm 18 weeks. Do you think this is to early?

I think it's usually 19/20 weeks. I'm sure if you're doctor feels it's fine, then it's probably good.

I agree that it should be ok. My doc says between 18 and 22. If they don't get all the information they need, they will have you come back again later.

My Dr will do anytime between 18-22wks depending on when your regular appt is. They like to let you get it done on the same day at my office since only the Dr can tell you how things look. The ultrasound tech can tell you the sex, but that's all they are allowed to say. You have to see the Dr to hear whether everything is measuring normal or not. I'm getting mine the day before I turn 18wks. That was what the Dr wanted. Otherwise I'd have to wait til 22wks, and given the choice the Dr's at my clinic like a little earlier than later so that everything fits on the screen well.

Mine is scheduled for June 13th when I am 19 weeks. 18 weeks should be fine though. They will be able to see everything at that point.

With my son mine was at 18 weeks but the way my appointments are going this one will end up around 20

Havn't even gotten to schedule it yet. Won't get to until my 18 week appointment then I will be another month until they can get me in. So it will be around the 22 week mark. Which is why we will go to get an early gender scan at the local 2d/3d place here in town! No way can I wait another 2 months!!

I haven't been able to schedule mine yet. I'm hoping I can at my next appointment to make sure DH can go. I think at 18 weeks everything will be fine. If you want to make yourself feel better, I'd call just to make sure!

18-22 weeks is the norm I will be almost 19 weeks when I have mine.

My Dr. said 18-22 weeks also. I have mine scheduled when I'm 18 wks 2 days

I have a appointment for my new OB on July 10th. The lady on the phone said I will be about 18 1/2 weeks then and I would be just shy of getting the scan. The OB just moved my due date so I will be 19 1/2 weeks. Im not sure when they will do it. She made it sound like it would be soon after that appointment.

Mine is scheduled for 1 day before 19 weeks. My doctor wanted it between 19 -20 weeks. 17 seems a little early, but as long as your doctor isn't worried about it, it should be fine. They'll just bring you back if they don't get all the pictures they need and who wouldn't want another peak at baby?

I am not sure yet what date mine will be, I will be 20 weeks on July 1st so I expect that week sometime, but it's anything from 20-22 weeks here.
