I had always been told being big I wouldn't be able to feel the baby, esp from the outside when I get pregnant. I'd heard otherwise but I didn't know what to expect and she's been kicking me allll day long. So I lay my hand on my tummy and sure enough I can feel her kicking my palm.
I thought this was a part of pregnancy I might not get to experience. I just wish DH were in here to feel it but she's crazy active alll the time, so maybe later. She kicks regularly now, and they are pretty strong sometimes... I didn't expect that this early, but I'm so happy. Just had to share!
People like to make fluffier women feel bad about themselves and I guess pregnancy doesn't change that. . I was told I wouldnt show until later because i was fluffy and I sure proved them wrong. and that you wouldn't feel the baby when everyone else was...
I say whatever! I'm glad you are getting to experience this and at the exact appropriate time!
Aw This melts my heart a little. I know how you feel. Having the early anterior placenta I wasn't expecting to feeling movement until much much later though I've felt baby a handful of times now! Mine doesn't sound as frequent as yours but my heart definitely skips a little beat when it happens. I can't wait til my DH can feel it too! Congrats mama
That's so awesome. Don't let anyone tell you things like that. Movement has nothing to do with your body type considering you feel it internally. Those kicks get so strong that there's no way daddy won't be able to feel them.
I'm really happy that you're getting to enjoy that feeling so early on in your pregnancy. It's one of the most special feelings.
