So I have been having this weird tightness of my belly and it lasts for maybe 3 or 4 mins and then my belly will go soft. Its been happening for about 3 days now. When my belly gets hard it gets rock hard. There is no pain but just a tad bit of pressure. Is anyone else having BH? The ER told me to watch out for them. I am not worried about it just wondering when they started for you and when is to much to much?

I have these ALL the time and have with all 3 of my pregnancies. I felt them starting at 10 ish weeks with this one and now at 20 weeks I feel them a lot more. They feel to me like tightening with some minor pressure and makes me feel like I am out of breath. That is your cue to sit down and take it easy...lots if fluid! Nothing to count or time unless they start hurting down low and are increasing in intensity.
I get them all the time and they seem to start earlier with each pregnancy. I've been having them nearly from the beginning this time. Usually drinking some water and lying down will make them stop, but I've noticed lately that I have a lot when I am already lying down in the evening. I think it's just my uterus practicing for the inevitable.

I wish I could remember when they started with my first. I think it was around 6 months. I had them all the time. They were pretty constant. It was never a problem for me and I actually ended up being overdue in the end so it didn't cause me to go into labor early or anything. They never ever hurt though. It was just a tightening that sometime might take your breath away because you felt like you were being squeezed to death, but didn't make you cramp with period like pains that come with real contractions. Usually laying down and drinking lots of water would help mine subside. They always got worse in the heat and when I was doing a lot.
