I have diareha and there seems to be quite a bit of mucous in my stools. I haven't ever noticed this ever before with any other pregnancy. Is this normal? Anyone ever experience this?

I've had that on occasion... I just always assumed it was because all open orifices produce some type of mucus

I get it once in awhile, but mine is due to Crohn's Disease. Different colored mucus can all mean different things.

I'm assuming it is clear... It is like my poop is snot consistancy, so the only thing i can think of is mixed with a lot of mucus? (SORRY TMI)

Strange of you to post this today since this is what I experienced just today!
I'm assuming it's a normal gross pregnancy symptom that not many people talk about. My BMs are always so different during pregnancy.

Hi from the Oct. DDC Yep, diarrhea is a normal part of pregnancy for me. It is also pretty common prior to active labor (NOT TO SCARE YOU!! I want that baby of yours to keep on baking for as long as possible!)

I know that diareha is a "sign" of labor and it freaks me out because it seems to only come shortly after when ever i eat as if cleaning out my system... Its it wasn't too bad but yesterday it was that nasty snotty like consistancy and wasn't sure if that was another labor indication... I have an appt today for my shot and i am going to try to get them to either give me the 2nd test today or do an u/s to check my cervix or manual check so i can get that shot before 26 weeks.... Hoping i can talk someone into it....

I'm either crapping my brains out or not crapping at all.... My body cant decide. Lol But mucus in stool is a sigh of injury to your intestine or rectum or colon. We normally have mucus in there to help things along ( I believe) but we don't see it. It might just be irritated due to the diarrhea so unless it's excessive, red, or continues for more than a few days, you should be fine.
