So i've been feeling really lazy the past few weeks. This week DH is on afternoon shift, he's gone when i get home from work and doesn't get home until around 10:20 at night so I was planning on getting lots of cleaning done, start organizing the baby's room, look for baby decor for her room, maybe even stopping my mom's to swim some laps in her pool. But what have i done? Nothing lol... today I worked and then had a doctor's appointment, then came home and slept for 2 hours, ate a bowl of ice cream and watched tv... depressing... I have no energy and need something to motivate me-lol......
Sometimes if I plan on doing too much, I just get overwhelmed and do nothing. I would set really small goals for yourself to accomplish each day. Makes me feel a lot better even when it's just something small, like organizing a few drawers one day and then a few more the next day, etc. I'm a big list person, so I like to make lists of what needs to be done so that I get that sense of accomplishment every time I mark something off.
Yes--smaller goals each day. Its a good idea to have a list of what youd like to do/get done during the week, but break those things down into daily plans. Maybe one big/major thing, a smaller thing, and then your relaxing idea of swimming in your moms pool
Also, try to remind yourself that the further along you are, the harder its going to be to get these things done, and you are running out of time!!!
But, not in a stressful way, haha
