Well sorry to introduce myself and leave, but things are not looking good over here. Got my beta back today at only 5.9. Just enough to almost be pregnant, but it's likely a chemical or another ectopic. I'm heartbroken and don't really know why this stuff keeps happening to us. But I wish all you ladies so much luck. I'm sure I'll lurk a little, but I think I'll be taking some time off after this loss.

I'm so sorry. I agree, maybe it is JUST that early?

Has your Dr. brought up taking baby aspirin or ruling out any blood clotting disorders? My dr. had me on that my last pregnancy and I'm doing it this time around too. Are they going to do any testing to figure out if something else is going on. Have you had yoru thyroid tested?

I truly hope it's just super early. Let us know. ((HUGS))

Thanks ladies, but even if it were a late implanter (a very late implanter) a level that low is just too low at this point. DH and I are still holding out the tiniest bit of hope, but it's not likely so we are just trying to get through the weekend at this point. I did have my thyroid checked and it is a bit on the high side of normal so I've been on synthroid for a few months. Problem is, I ran out of synthroid about a week ago so I'm waiting to get in with my pcp for a refill. Other than that I've done a lot of tests, but not sure about the clotting disorder really, I may ask for more tests once this part is over. Honestly I think we'll end up taking a break if this one doesn't happen. Thanks for all the support though ladies.

Im sorry your going through this, I trully am. Please dont give up hope for your future though, I also had 3 m/c's before my 19mo old. I know how devistating they are. You will get that perfect sticky baby, just hold on and keep believing. Praying for you.

So sorry to read this, Lindsay. I don't know why this is happening to you either, except to say that your body is clearly just waiting for the "right" bean to come along. I know that's probably not very helpful to you at this point, but I truly believe it. I understand wanting to take time off too. I felt so frustrated after my m/c...when the time is right, I wish you lots of luck and baby dust.
