Okay ladies I need to have a quick cry session then I promise to suck it up & move on. I'm really disappointed in DH right now. I know this pg was not expected but afyer the first few days, when the shock wore off, i started getting excited. DH never mentions anything about the baby & just acts like everything is the same. I askes him to go to the u/s yesterday and got a big fat "no". He is retired from the military so its not like he had to go to work or anything. He stayed home watched tv and took a nap. When i got home I tried to show him the pic he glanced at It and said "oh". I was trying to tell him that i heard the hb and he walked off. I'm heartbroken that i dont have support from the one person that matters. He sill plans on moving the first of May while I stay here for the kids to finish school. Not sure how I am supposes to take it easy while I take care of 3 kids alone. The Dr wants me doing as little as possible. It's baseball season so I will be draging the boys to the ball field 3 nights each week and chasing down a 2y/o because he can't sit through a game. I'm ready to pull my hair out.

I think you’re completely righteous in feeling both put upon and upset by his behavior. I obviously don’t know the particulars of your situation, but would it be possible for you to just sit him down and say: “Look. I need you. I need you to be involved. I need you to be interested. And I need you to show me that you care.” Kind of a “Come to Jesus” speech, as it were? Men are really obtuse sometimes. (And some men more than others.) Perhaps he just doesn’t realize how this is affecting you?
Marriages sure are tough work sometimes, huh? Hang in there.
Crystal, this sounds really rough. I hope you'll figure out some things to lighten your load and help you out to get you through the first tri. Ugh, it's hard enough as it is!
About your hubby, if it makes you feel any better, my father was really unhappy when my mother got pregnant with my little sister but the minute he laid eyes on her, he was absolutely in love. I know that doesn't help much now though. Hang in there!
I agree .....men dont get a connection until birth whereas we feel a connection when we find out we are pregnant. I'm sorry he is not being sopportive when you need him the most. I think you should just talk to him and put it all on the table. Maybe something else is bothering him. I hope he comes around soon We are all here for you no matter what. You are stuck wit us

Hoping & praying for our rainbow baby after 2 back to back 2nd trimester losses
Thanks ladies. I asked him if we could talk & he refused. Guess Im just going to let things be & wait for him to come to me. Either way Im going to enjoy this pg even if Im enjoying it alone. I was blessed that the tubal reversal was successful and we were able to have Elijah so being pg again is another miracle & even a stubborn DH cant take the smile off of my face.
