My DD and I were in the car on Saturday when we got smashed! This other driver must've been going 50 through an intersection and ran straight into the passenger side of my car. Luckily we were both on the driver's side. I've been laid up and very sore the whole weekend, but I'll be fine and my DD is not even sore. I'm freaking out a little about the little bean inside because I got knocked around good. I'm still waiting for my OB to return my call. I hope they bring me in for an u/s. I'm 7 weeks and a few days, so I'm pretty sure we'd be able to at least hear a heart beat with a trans vag u/s. I have my first appt scheduled for Friday. I know there's nothing that can be done if the impact did cause m/c, but I really don't want to wait until Friday. I just want to know that everything is okay!

Sorry sweet! I'm sure the next couple of days are going to be agonizing - but we'll keep our fingers crossed that all turns out OK. So glad you and the DD weren't seriously injured.

OMG SO scary! I had a friend that was only 10 weeks and someone hit her. She has a healthy 3 yo son. It didn't affect him at all, although she was a bit banged up.

I'm sure everything is fine, there's lots of cushioning in there Update us after your appt!

My sister had a major accident when she was 4-5 weeks like went through the window and shattered every bone in her foot with no problems...I'm glad you guys are ok...try not to worry to much mommas body is there to protect the baby...

I am glad you and DD are alright. I pray the LO is perfect which i am sure it is since its surrounded by alot of protection.
