What is your favorite wrap/sling/carrier? Having big boobs made most slings impossible. I hated the peanut shell. I loved my moby wrap but it was such a hassle I would defiantly get another though. I just know there has to be some happy medium. They are wonderful for NIP so I will be getting another one but I sure don't waste near as much money.

I got a Moby (luckily still have it) last time and tried and tried to figure out how to put it on and it always looked so messed up. I need someone to help me this time around. I loved wearing DD in it but it just did not look nice like the photos. My friend swears by the Ergo so I may look into getting one of those as well.

That sleepy wrap looks just like the moby.

Gosh, my favorites were different with each baby! My son loved the sling, I had one custom made with bamboo fabric and it was so breathable during the Summer. My daughter loved the Ergo and I ended up making 2 mei tai carriers which I absolutely love.
I guess my favorite is the mei tai carrier but I'm looking forward to making another carrier for this little one that is made out of a jersey knit.

I loved my Sleepy Wrap, but it was such a long piece of fabric. I didn't like having to deal with that in public or if I was in a hurry. I had a sling that was ok. I plan on purchasing a Baby K'tan for this pregnancy. It is similar to the sleepy wrap but without all the fabric.

The little backpack looking ones like the Chicco posted above are horrible for the babies spine. My chiropractor has no problem saying he wished they weren't made anymore. Once they get bigger and can support their head they aren't as bad on the baby but still not the best.

Last time I went through so many carriers. I had a Snugli before learning how bad it is for their spines.. I got a wrap but I was too sleep deprived to learn it and gave up. I had a sling and it hurt my shoulder. I ended up with an Ergo when my son was 1, and LOVE it. I still use it sometimes and he is about 30 lbs.
This time I'm planning on buying a Moby around 12 weeks so I have the whole pregnancy to learn it lol.

I made my own Moby - just go buy 7 yards (yes, yards) of stretch cotton jersey fabric, fold it in half lengthwise and cut down the middle - now you have two wraps, no sewing necessary.
I love it - but you do have to know how to wrap it. I found videos online to show me how to wrap it. I loved it and so did Mallory. I'd get on the computer and work and she'd just be sleeping away!

I used a hotslings, which was super easy - although I've seen a couple with adjustable snaps (like the Ergo) which seem like they might be more comfortable for the wearer. Despite the lack of adjustment, I did use the hotslings until DD was about 1 and a half - albeit in an entirely different sling position.
I just checked out their website https://www.hotslings.com/, and apparently they now make an adjustable version as well. However, I found both of my slings on Craigslist - so I'm not going to complain about not having the "newest" version.

I of course have no experience using them yet, but I think I am going to get a Moby to wear around the house and then an Ergo for when we go out of the house. I need to do some more research on them, though.

I had a Baby Bjorn for my first son, which worked great. Then with my second, I got a Moby Wrap and an Ergo carrier and love them both!! The Baby Bjorn has since been retired since the Ergo definitely works much better for me (and my larger babies).
