We had bee NTNP for 3 years. DH has low testerone and had stopped taking his shots a few months prior. We tried for over a year and a half with Elijah so I know my cycles better than anyone should. I know over 3 years we DTD in the window of time to get pg all but maybe 10 mo.ths because "o" time is the only time I have a sex drive. We were both still shocked though we knew it was a possibility since it hadn't happened before now.

Decided the week of March 13 to stop preventing and see what happens. March 26 got BPF. Freaked me out big time cause I thought it would take a while, but wow still just writing it shocks me.

Exact same thing happened here! Guess that's why they say it only takes once....

We were not ttc. My husband has used the pull-out method for 5 years. Yes, we are adults and realize that this is a very bad method of birth control. I didn't care because I wanted one more baby anyway. One time, he was enjoying himself too much and didn't pull out! I knew I was fertile, so I wasn't surprised when I found out I was pregnant, but he was! Oops!

Went off BC in Dec'11 and got my BFP in Mar'12.

My cycle hadn't regulated yet so in we DTD 5 times in what I thought was my fertile window based on a 25day cycle. And it worked! Thank god for the AF tracker app that I started using or I would have no idea when I may have been O'ing!

TTC and now being pregnant has been and continues to be an education for me!

I went off BC the middle of February. Originally went off BCP because I was having bad side effects. So DH went NTNP and I was TTC. Then got BFP on 4/9/12. It was technically 2nd cycle. But it was extra long cycle, didnt O till day 39 I think. I really had counted this cycle out but there was other plans in store.

I am still nursing my 17 month old so I never got a post-partum period until Feb 2012 (yes, 2 yrs with no period! it was awesome haha) then after that DH and I just decided we wouldnt prevent and wouldnt try. But I still followed my "fertile signs" like CM and all that, and we got pregnant on that first cycle after I got my first period. Crazy, huh? And actually, turns out it happened a whole 10 days after I thought I had ovulated, when we thought we were "safe".

We have been NTNP since I got my period back after my 2nd son was born (around June 2011). But, I had been tracking my ovulation so that I wouldn't get pregnant in March or April (to prevent the Dec/Jan due date), so it was a big surprise to find out I was pregnant. And obviously my ovulation date was off in March...

This one was a surprise! We have had our share TTC though. We had 3 m/c's that all happened very easily (second cycle, first cycle, and third cycle) then it took a year to conceive DD1 with meds and IUI. For DD2 we went straight to the RE and did one cycle of meds and IUI.
