Last night I was starving and nothing sounded good. The kids had pizza but after 1 bite I knew I couldnt eat it. So at 9:00 I'm driving through town trying to find something that sounded good. I was already upset because I really wanted to eat so I'm sure that played a big part in my level of agitation. I finally decided on McDonald's for some nuggets. I pull up to give them my order and they were out of sweet and sour sauce. That was it for me. I really felt like crying but instead the poor lady taking the order got an ear full. I mean how can you not have sweet & sour? I finally just drove off. I was even more of an emotional mess than when I first started my journey for food. It just got worse from there. I ended up at Popeye's for a 3pc chicken tender and had to wait 30 minutes plus the tea was nasty. About an hour later i was sick as a dog. These hormones are out of control.

I feel your pain... except the only difference is its my hubby being mean.... I have heard "Honey, can't you crave something else?" or "Really, that again.... " or "Do you think you can crave something a bit cheaper?"

I am sad that DH is working Sundays, cause I like our weekends as a family... but kinda glad that he is working Sundays too cause that means he can't possibly say no... right?! hehehe

oh and PS.... now MCDonalds and sweet & sour sauce sounds so freaking good....

I worked in a McDonald's when I was 16 - and at least you had a reason to be complaining Sometimes people would just go off for reasons completely beyond my control - Why is there so much traffic? What do you mean, I have to wait 2 minutes for the coffee to brew? Why is there so much salt on my fries???

I haven't really been craving much of anything - and in fact have to convince myself to eat something now and again. Hopefully we all level out soon!

I went to the grocery store today and bought all snack foods and junk food...it all looked so good on the shelves and then I got home and unpacked all the food and haven't touched any of it...nothing sounds good!

I totally understand your agitation. I had a similar incident at Wendy's when I wanted a vanilla frosty and their machine was down so my husband being determined to get me my ice cream drives to the other wendy's a bit furthr down and their's was broken too! I got really irritated and settled for chocolate then got sick later on that night. I hope we can all level out soon too....

My poor kids think I have lost it. It would have been different if I hadn't felt so bad. I'm sure if I wee in a normal state of mind I would have gotten a different sauce. It was just more than my hormonal brain could handle. It's funny because today I think I would puke if I ate a nuggett. Im usually very nice to the fast food workers. I bet ya next time I get a few extras and put them in the cabinet so it doesn't happen again.

Darn it!! I don't even like McDonalds and now I want this! I'm sure it will change when I read about something else in a few minutes but darn it!

And why when I'm actually looking for something to eat does nothing sound good? I've become one of those people that drive me crazy - I can never make up my mind about where I want to go and what I want to eat! So frustrating!
