I have been the same way today...my dh has been working all week...he is part time but they work him 50 hrs+ a week sometimes which means from the time I wake up until time for bed with no day off to spend as a family and it's ticking me off...

I feel so guilty about it!! I know so many women would love to be in my shoes but I cant seem to cheer up.
Im getting myself stressed over things like the babys bedroom, which is going to be shared with SO's son, he stays twice a week but its such a small room I just cant see how we will fit everything in and SO either doesnt want to talk about it or when he does he starts getting all funny when I say we'll have to get his boy a smaller bed for now and try and de clutter his toy collection.
This baby will be here 24/7 but I feel like it will be second best at the mo to the son he already has

Feeling pretty good here! I just know it got progressively worse for me last time, and i would take all this stuff instead of the 'bowling ball between the legs' feeling near the end hahaha

Id be happy if this weird feeling in my tummy would go away or I could figure out what it is. The area above my belly button and below my ribs gets sooooo tight and bloated. Its larger than my lower belly. Im kinda thinking its gas and trying to get rid of it but kinda fells like heartburn. Tums not working. Just making me uncomfortable.

No, I feel really lucky to be feeling great. I'm sure I won't always be feeling so great, but I'm really enjoying it right now!

And Sophie, as far as his son, I think it will change once your little one gets here. I'm sure he's going to quickly fall in love with the new baby and will treat both the kids the same. It's probably just harder now that he only has his son. I hope things get better for you!

Same thing happens to me! It especially happens at night, even though Im on a really strong indigestion medicine, it wont go away. My stomach gets really tight and its just sooo uncomfortable, I try to go to bed early so I can just sleep through it. Yuck. I think it is gas and indigestion. I get to where I need to burp but I cant. Sometimes I force myself to throw up just to get the distension to go down.

Sophie, this is so normal with a second baby, I have to say! When I was pregnant with my second, I felt like my first was more important and I had to do everything I could to make sure he knew he wasn't getting replaced. I think it's normal parent guilt because when my daughter was born, she quickly became just as important as my son and my son lived to tell. I wouldn't worry about it in the least - once your baby is here, your SO will quickly adjust and the love will become equal.

PS - Yes, I feel like crud too but I'm having moments where I'm starting to feel back to my old self - the light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm right there with you. Sunday is my one day off from work and school and all day today I was so tired I couldn't do anything but sleep! My toddler was so tired of boring mom. I went from the bed, to the floor, to the couch! Then I realized, it's not even hot out yet and I'm not due until it's snowing. Such a long way to go. =(

I feel you Sophie. I was sharing the news with some relatives this weekend, and they were SO excited...and here I was like, "Yup. It's pretty exciting. Woo." Which is not to say that I'm not happy, I'm thrilled. I'm just currently existing in this dark world of nausea and fatigue that doesn't allow for my excitement to peek through quite yet. We'll get there. In the meantime, we can moan and whine to our fellow preggos.
