How is everyone's weekend going? What have you been up to?


I went to some garage sales yesterday and found some great deals! I got a Graco swing, Baby Bjorn carrier, a little white outfit, 2 sleepers and 4 plain white onesies all for just $21! I love garage sales! Not too much planned for today. My friend is finally coming back from her vacation today and picking up her dog. I'm looking forward to having our house back to normal again!

So far so good. Yesterday we went to Six Flags Fiesta TX and floated the lazy river! Today we are leaving to spend the week in Houston with my DH!

Sounds like you ladies are having a relaxing weekend. Yesterday my MIL came over and we started cleaning out the room that will soon be for baby. I got really excited! The room looks so much BIGGER now that all those boxes are gone. So happy! MIL is so excited so in the next couple weeks we will shop for new carpet and stuff! I think we are gonna wait till we know the gender to buy much of anything, but I still can't wait! Also, our AC got fixed!! YAY! So all-in-all a good weekend.

Nice finds at the garage sale! Oh my gosh, I am jealous.
This weekend has consisted of lying on the sofa, lying on the bed or sitting at the dining table, exciting stuff! I've been working on another Blurb photo album, organizing my digital home video library, reading my book for book club and reading to the kids whenever they will let me.

Exciting! I'm trying to get DH to hurry up and get our basement finished so we can start moving his office stuff down there and I can start turning it into the nursery.

What book are you reading? I haven't read anything in awhile and want to get back into it. Do you do digital scrapbooking by any chance? Or do you just use the Blurb software? I've seen some really cute digital scrapbooking pages recently and would like to learn more about it but I'm not really sure what kind of software to use.

Yesterday ran all over creation is seemed.
Big O Tire to get oil changed in my truck, Sams Club, Second hand store (total bust for swim suit shopping), Kohls (again total bust, their maternity second is almost non existent), Best Buy, met a friend for coffee.
Yah that totally pissed me off She is 24 and has 4 kids, just had the 4th a few months ago. She was asking me all kinds of things about the baby and everything I said I have planned to do she was like "Ha we'll you'll learn that wont work, you'll have to do it this way." I wanted to scream and say you know every baby is different and I know especially that having baby sleep in his/her crib in their own room from when you bring them home worked just fine for all the babies in my family. (sorry had to vent that)
Atleast the day got better because I got the Peter Piper Pizza I'd been craving

Now today is for laundry and house work.

I LOVE garage sales. Good job on the baby finds!

We've been pretty lazy. It was our first Saturday in a month and a half that my in-laws weren't here and/or I didn't have to be at work. We lounged about in the morning, I napped when DD napped and then we went to my parents for bbq/dinner last night.

Today, I work. Boo.
