They don't usually get boy guesses wrong but it can happen lol when will your dr try to find out? I made them make sure three times that Grayson is in fact a boy and I might ask again when I go back in. I just can't believe we actually got our boy...

They say it's very very uncommon for them to think it's a boy but have the baby be a girl, but I know somebody that it happened to. They were preparing for a little boy but got a little girl instead. Imagine my friend's surprise when she woke up from her c-section! I can understand how a tech can search and search and assume girl because they can't find boy parts, but I don't know how you see boy parts and have it be something else. My u/s was quite convincing that I am in fact carrying a boy, but I still get nervous after thinking about my friend.

I can't imagine thinking it was a girl and getting a boy. I would be so upset just because I would have removed the tags from clothes and washed them all already.

I'm not sure what I would do if this baby came out a girl! I have nothing even gender neutral, it's all boy stuff.
So, what are you looking forward to the most about raising a boy?

All of my early u/s with my boys were right. It's kinda hard to mistake the "turtle" appearance. This LO did not have any modesty issues and showed all parts as clear as day. As much as I would like for the u/s tech to have been wrong I don't see it happening. Pus it was a level II which is much more clear and detailed so another boy it is.
Anyone found any super cute little boys clothes yet? It kinda makes me sad when I see all of the cute girl stuff and they have racks after racks crammed full of clothes then when you look at the boy stuff its one rack and just a plain outfit.

I am excited for a boy! I have always wanted to have a boy first and DH's family is very male dominant. I am pretty confident it is a boy or my daughter has 3 legs lol. Looking for any tips about raising boys!!
Seems like the group is over ran by girls, hope we can keep up!

CrystalCherry! I am having a hard time seeing cute things for boys too! It's even hard at a babies r us. "/ It's like the whole clothing section is strewn with little girl things and only one measly wall is dedicated to boys. and older boys at that. hardly anything newborn.
to cope with that i think of all the money we will SAVE not giving in to buying sparkle shoes, headbands, tutus, and other frilly (but oh so adorable!) girl things. and i am also looking to friends that had sons who will be grown out of their clothes by the time he is born. If you check out the children's place online or in a local store they typically have some cute stuff too. it took a little changing of my original hopes and dreams of this baby being a girl but now i'm getting more excited everyday.
As far as what i'm looking forward to...that will definitely be father/son time. my husband will be and already is absolutey smitten with alex! I'm a little worried about the whole distructive quality my friends say all their boys have when they hit about 18months but i'm looking forward to legos and building forts again! i loved building those when i was a kid. not to mention that boys have a really strong bond with their moms. i can't wait for our little man to be my best bud for a day out in the mud!

I'm looking forward to playing in the dirt I loved playing in the dirt as a kid, and much preferred dump trucks and sandboxes over dolls and dress up, so I'm excited to have an excuse to get dirty again I'm also excited that my dad will have a little hunting and fishing buddy, as well as a Yankee and Giants fan, lol.
I too, am bummed that they don't make too many cute boy outfits.

What I'm looking forward to is watching my two boys grow up together. I'm hoping they will be best buddies and get along well. I'm also looking forward to watching my husband with his boys. It makes me so happy just thinking of it!
I've always thought Carters clothes for boys are cute. They have especially cute tiny boy clothes. Some of their outfits/sleepers for infants have little animal faces on the bum. So cute! If you can find a Carter's outlet near you even better!

I agree about Carter's. My mom and I went shopping a few weeks ago and Carter's had the best stuff for little boys. Everywhere else was pretty disappointing.

Aside from dressing the baby in blue, is there anything that tells the world "I AM A BOY", like bows do for girls?

I have found a lot of sports, trucks, cars related outfits in reds, greens, yellows that are definitely just for boys.
Maybe since they have stick on bows for girls, someone could make stick on mustaches for boys.

Ive seen some super cute hats/ beanies for boys... but clothing is makin me a little sad I had so much fun shopping and making things for DD ( and spent a small fortune as well!) I do think some things are super cute - but the selection is just so small.
I am super super excited to start on his room though!! I have the crib picked out, the theme of his room and even purchased a few decor items today at hobby lobby!! Ive been watching craigslist daily looking for the perfect dresser to refinish and paint the color Ive picked out already for it ( I want an antiquey mustard yellow dresser)

When it gets warmer he could wear a little baseball hat.
Whats your favorite/the most exciting thing you have bought for your baby boy?

Yeah, I'll probably get him some caps. I'm originally from NY but live in AL, so I need to teach him young that we care about the NFL and Yankees baseball, not college football and the Braves, lol. I also like the mustache idea
I haven't bought anything for Caleb yet. I was going to wait until after my shower to see what I have and then go from there. I know I'll get a million outfits, so I don't want to get overly excited just yet. I did buy the yarn I'm going to use for his baby blanket, though. I can't wait to see how it turns out

Already having 3 boys I don't really have anything I am looking forward to because little boys stress me out! They are so dangerous and wild. I cannot believe we have not had more ER visits...other than two or three each. My boys are all mommas boys which is nice though. I'm not sure how the almost 9 year difference between Jakob and this one will work out. I'm sure there will be a lot of tattling when Jakob has a girlfriend. I did find some really cute onesies on Pinterest the other day....just a plain white onesie with an old tie sewed on.
