How does your child handle you leaving in the morning?

Jackson will be three years old on May 1st and for the last few months, he has been giving me a hard time in the morning when I leave for work. He just doesn't want me to go. Thankfully, my mom watches him during the day so I drop him off at her house, but it is still so hard! We find ourselves having to think of new things to make him happy when we are leaving in the morning.

Any of you have any special ideas or tricks?
