Do you let your child(ren) drink soda? If so, how much?

If not, will there be a time when you will let them have it?

Do you let your child(ren) drink soda? yes If so, how much? My ds 1 soda a day and dd 1 1/2 cup a day. When we buy it. We don't buy it too much. I also allow them to have it,when we eat out.

If not, will there be a time when you will let them have it?

Do you let your child(ren) drink soda? If so, how much? No, and I don't want to start it either.

If not, will there be a time when you will let them have it? I'm sure DH will give him a taste, but I'm hoping not. I'm hoping he'll be like me and won't like them.

Do you let your child(ren) drink soda? If so, how much? Not right now, she is way too young IMHO

If not, will there be a time when you will let them have it? When she's a few years older, as an occasional treat (when we go out to eat, for example)

I haven't let Tyler have any. Haley has tried a few sips but doesn't like it anyways.

Neither SO or I drink it so it's never in the house, and not something they would think to ask for.

If not, will there be a time when you will let them have it? I am sure when he gets older that he will have it if we go out to dinner or something like that.

DS is 10, and on the RARE occasion has a soda at the house if we have something that isn't caffeinated like 7up or grape soda (that doesn't happen very often b/c DH drinks diet mt dew and I like Coke). I'm talking MAYBE once every couple of weeks? He does also have a Sprite about every 3rd or 5th time we go out to eat, but we prefer he has chocolate milk or water and no refills. If he is still thirsty he gets water.

Yes, probably no more than half a can every few days. we put it in a sippy with as much ice that will fit in the cup.

it's still way too much, though. how do i know that? because my little speech-delayed myna bird now ASKS for it!

we've also learned that soda can be binding, which is not good since he already has constipation issues. so, we're currently trying to cut it back, using it as a "treat" for a no hitting/no biting day at school

I see you are dealing with biting issues, Marshall was a biter too. It was a hard habit for us to break. I hope you have better luck with it than we did.
