Who were your favourite authors while you were growing up?

I LOVEEEEEDDDDDD Ann M. Martin - author of the Babysitters Club.. those books were my biggest addiction for a number of years!

RL Stine - I particularly liked his 'The Babysitter' books (I think there were 3). Never really liked Goosebumps though

Elizabeth Levy - she wrote 'The Gymnasts' series, which was another of my favourite series of books when I was a kiddo

I like the Little Sister books better than the Baby-Sitter Club books. I loved RL Stine and any other scary book I could get my hands on. I'm not sure on any other authors, though. I didn't always read a series.

I liked 'Sweet valley twins" and the scary author Christopher Pike. But in my teenage yrs I feel in love with F. Scott Fitzgerald (Great Gatzby) and James Herriot (All creatures great and small).

I was weird I didn't like typical children's authors. I read anything by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Ray Bradbury, err I did read The Diary of Anne Frank so I suppose that could be viewed as a children's book, in a way.

V.C. Andrews and Ann M. Martin. And John Saul. And Dean Koontz. And Richard Preston. The BSC books were the closest I ever really got to reading 'kid' books - always been a big fan of mystery/medical mystery books.
