I know it isn't QUITE tuesday for most of you.. but it's half over for me

Did you do gymnastics as a child?
Was it just fun, or were you a competitive gymnast?
Do/will your children do gymnastics?

I did, and it was very much just for fun. Even as a 5 year old I was too fat for gymnastics!
Gaby wants to & may do it, but it's SO expensive over here!!!!!

I was a comppetitive cheerleader, which involved tumbling, but I never had any formal gymnastics classes. I hope to get Chy started soon. I think she would really love it, and she already has super awesome body control (much better than Colton) and a natural grace. I think she'll make a great gymnast or dancer or cheerleader. I've just got to move to a place where there are classes, lol.

No. I try to do a somersault and I nearly break my neck. My child probably won't do it, either, she doesn't show any interest or aptitude in it.

There are no gymnastic classes in my area. The closest we had was a dance studio and they were too expensive for a single mom with 4 kids. If we can afford to we will try to get the girls into dance.

I did gymnastics as a kid, but quit when I was 7. My Mum made me pick between ballet and gym, and I picked ballet.

I would let the boys do it if they showed an interest but so far none have
