Did/do you have a big birthday party for your child/rens 1st birthday?
Or just something low key?
Share photos of the 1st birthdays you've thrown, if you'd like!

Gaby I ended up having quite a few people here, but it was more a chance for a bit of a family meet up - especially since her birthday is just before, or just after one of our main public holidays here!

Emersyn it's going to be myself, Gaby, my parents, my friend & her DD, another of my friends and perhaps my sis & niece, and my aunt and uncle.... again nothing extravagent, more of an excuse for adults to have time together, and for the kids to play.. LOL the people who get the most joy from Emersyn's 1st b/day will be Gaby & her little friend Belle (friends DD).. lol

here are a couple of pics from Gaby's 1st b/day

Gaby & her little buddy, Josh

big people enjoying the food

cake time!

Gaby wasn't impressed!

Oh I LOVE that sad face in the last picture, lol. Too cute.

Colton's first birthday was a big deal. It was John Deere tractor theme and all my family and a few friends came, as did my in laws. Probably 30+ people. Chy's was more low-key. Just family, no friends, and it wasn't themed, lol. But it was still a good party. And my husband was able to be there because we actually did it a few days early before he left for Alaska.
