lol i found a map of the red/orange/green/white zones, and it gives a pretty good depiction of why I am a little concerned...... I have labelled where my house is - its basically RIGHT on the boundry of where the red zone finishes, to the left of the zone... if we are made green, we'll be the first green zone in amongst a whole lot of red.... You can also see a pattern with where all the damage was - either side of the river basically...
it's land damage from all our earthquakes.. the government have finally announced which land cannot be built on or repaired - ie the red zone.. the orange zone [me] are properties/areas needing further assessment... I have them coming over to do an 'intensive' assessment, and am pretty sure we'll be 'redded'... meaning I'll have to leave here within the next nine months
