There are some roses in front of our house that bloom once each year, but I don't keep up with them. I am what one might call "flower-challenged". Seriously, my thumb is the opposite of green... it's black. I kill anything green that I touch or even look at.

On the other hand, I have an uncanny ability to keep fish alive for many, many years....

Yeah, black thumb here too. And, I don't have a garden, or what I believe you're referring to... a yard.
