I took child and infant cpr a few years ago, and I've been showed basic adult cpr but I really need a refresher course! I'm going to look into one this summer.

Do you know first aid and cpr?

No. I did learnit in hs, but I totally can't remember any of it. I keep wanting to sign up for another class, but it just slips my mind.

Where's a good place to start? Look for local training facilities or would this be something you could learn online?

I am CPR and AED certified for BLS providers through the AHA.

Check your local hospital and fire departments if they have Emergency Medical Services (EMS). You could also check American Heart Association (AHA) and Red Cross.

This is something that if you truly intend to use it, if someone needs it, you definitely want to learn in person and you want to be able to retrain on every so often. For us it's every 6 months.

Same here. It's required for my job. We have to re-certify every 2 years.

First thing I did when we decided to get pregnant. I feel so much better knowing I could save my own, or somebody else's children if needed.

No I don't know it at present but I will be taking classes soon.It is always good to prepare yourself during emergency situations because you never know what your kids could swallow especially when they are in the crawling stage.
