My kids aren't in school yet. Of course they love a fruit snack pack, but they are saved for special snacks. They love all kinds of fruits, crackers, Goldfish, or whatever I happened to buy that week...

Belle has been on an Apple kick lately. Or Goldfish. But every time she sees anything red and round she says APPLE! and immediately heads to the kitchen and points at the bag of apples I keep on the Bakers Rack. LOL So she'll get one apple a day, but because she often will ask for apple more than once, I cut the apple in quarters and only share with her a quarter at time.

I give my 5 year old apples and carrots. She loves ritz crackers or goldfish. I also buy the fruit snacks to give to her too. And she likes to have kool aid burst drinks or something like that to drink. We give her Gatorade so she doesn't get too much juice in a day.
Some snacks my kids love: fruit, crackers, cheese, yo-go's, raisins, rice crispie squares, granola bars, and yogourt.
Haley is starting school in the fall so I haven't had to pack lunches yet. As far as I know about her school there is no school-wide peanut ban, but if there is a child in her classroom with an allergy then she will not be allowed to bring any peanut products. Which is fine with me, of course. But I'll admit it will be much easier to pack lunches if not, because this kid would eat PB&J 3 meals per day if i'd let her!
