I havent had 2 hold her for her to fall asleep in 2 days...shes reallly fighting it tonight...I think this time i will have to pick her up to comfort her! Ive gone in there twice & she is still hystericall...hasnt even been 10 mins!
You have to go by your gut, you know when she really needs you!!! And it's perfectly fine to pick her up when that happens, just as long as it's not every night, because then she learns that how she gets picked up, KWIM?
Did she have a rough day today? Is she not feeling well or overtired? If so, then she just needs mom and you do whatever you have to do.
But if not, and she's fine as soon as you pick her up, then I would say keep trying with the CIO tonight.
Ahhhhh 4th time was a charm!!! thank god!!!!!!!!!! Phew!!!!! She could have been overtired. ABout an hr or so ago she was laying next to me on the floor with her brothers blanket...so yeah she probably WAS over tired!
Sometimes its hard for me to let Adelynn CIO at bedtime cuz I dont want her to wake up Brayden![/b]
I had that problem too, but Haley got used to it very quickly. However, she was a bit older than Brayden at that time. But as long as Brayden has good sleeping habits installed in him already, then it shouldn't be too hard to get him back to sleep if he did happen to wake up.
