Just curious. I would consider that I follow Traditional Parenting? But I can't find an actual definition. How do you define it?

There's no real definition, I think most people are a mixture. Here's some issues that usually fall into the TP category (copying this from my intro in the sticky):

I am pretty much TP all the way; I believe in age-appropriate CIO, I am not anti-spanking when it is necessary and not done in anger (for me it is a last resort), and I believe kids should sleep in thier own crib/beds. We use disposable diapers, are not much into baby wearing, I have a snuggli that I love for walks but not really around the house. I would never consider home-schooling and we are very pro-vax although I am delaying the Chicken Pox Vaccine until age 4.

Basically I believe that raising your child should be parent-led and not child-led.

I formula fed both and I am very anti-circ, although I strongly believe that these two things should never be grouped into a parenting style.

Well-put, Mel. I have a very similar idea of TP.
I also believe in age-appropriate CIO, I also believe in spanking (as a last resort in my case also) and Marshall has always (since birth) been in his own bed. I used disposable diapers and never had anything that could be used for baby wearing. We have a backpack for hiking but that is as close as we have come to baby wearing. Marshall will not be home schooled and we have done all the vaccines so far.

I did breast feed for 1 year and I had Marshall circumsized; however, as Mel said, these are not really a parenting style.
