Well, this won't be a long birth story as my labour was not long at all. I woke up at 3:15am ont he 12th with contractions 4-5 min. apart and only lasting 15 sec. I called L&D and long story short the told me to wait until the lasted about 60 seconds. I called back about 15 min. later and they were lasting 60 sec. So off to the hospital we went. We got to the hospital at 4:45 and by that time my contractions were like 1-2 min. apart. They got me into a room, I got into the gown etc. They gave me the laughing gas and demoral through IV right away, which let me relax in between contractions. I go into bed and right away she checked me. I was 8-9. I was like "I AM WHAT", I couldn't believe I was that far along already. So they got the Dr. there and check me again at around 6 and I was 10. I think I pushed 4 times and he was out. He was 9 pounds 6 ounces and 22 1/2 inches long. I got home Tuesday and everything is going wonderful. I coulnd't ask for anything more. HIs big brother is having so much fun with him right now......I hope it lasts......LOL.

Congratulations and welcome Rylan!!!! What a great short labor...I hope that I am that lucky, keep praying she is gonna be easy on me sinch she is taking so long to come out!!!!!
