Well, I started having contractions on the 7th all day on and off, we went to Labor and Delivery and they said I was only 1cm and 80% effaced but her head was lower so to just go home and wait. I went home and as soon as I got home, I started getting contractions, stronger ones this time and 5,7 and 10 min apart but I was scared to go L&D and get sent home again so I stayed up all night because the contractions hurt so bad. Finally, thursday morning, I said I cannot take it anymore and went to the hospital with my mom and step dad, Phil left work and met us 30 min later at the hospital. When I got there, they told me I was 2cm dialated but completely effaced. They weren't sure if they wanted me to walk around to dialate more or start pitocin. Finally the nurse came back at around 8:00 AM and told me that they were going to start the pitocin to help me along. They started the pitocin at around 10:00 am, they came to check me at 1:00 pm and I was at 4cm but they told me that the contractions were coming 2min apart which I knew because they hurt like hell and I could see it in the monitor. About 20 min later, I got the Epidural and everything was wonderful. They broke my water at around 1:00 P.M. The doctor came in at around 3:00 pm to check me and I was fully dialated and her head was crowning so they started setting up for me to push. I pushed a couple of times and she was almost out but I farted and I started laughing SO hard that I started to push her head back in LOL...finally I gave four more pushes and she was out and born at 3:09 PM. She was 6lbs 2oz and 20 inches long. I didn't tear at all, I was very thankful for that! I started breast feeding her and she took on to it very well. She is only drinking formula twice during the night and the rest of her feedings I breast feed her. She is adorable and I love her so much! It is so worth it, the pain, the progress of pregnancy, labor, everything is worth it!

P.S. The next day Phil goes to me..oh by the way you did poo on the table! I was so afraid of doing that and I did but it is nooo big deal. Its part of the process and totally normal but it was hysterical! I didn't even feel it because of the Epidural, even when I was in labor and I would try to hold back my farts, they would just come out and I didnt even know that they were coming LOL...gotta love that Epidural B)

Congrats!!!!! You are too funny! I am sitting here cracking up because I can just picture it! I never had the epidural, so I wouldn't know what it was like to laugh during th pushing phase!!! With Isabella I was busy screaming! With Isaac I had the water birth, which was a lot better, but I still wasn't laughing!
