[size=1]I'm new here..soo...BETTER LATE THEN NEVER!

On March 29th, a Wednesday, I went to the doctor and since I was 36 1/2 weeks into my high risk pregnancy, he decided I didn't need to go back to work. I was scheduled for a c-section on April 10th. Late that night, after suffering from a horrible headache *which I had through most of my pregnancy* I called the doctor to see what I should do. At this point I had already taken Lortab with no effect and I was vomiting again. He sent me to L&D to spend the night for some rehydration and something for the pain. The next morning, thinking I was ready to go home, I wasn't too excited to see the on-call doctor instead of mine. He explained that my doctor had ordered for me to have a neurologist to see me (*brain doctor*) before I could leave...Sunday morning, I'm STILL there! Good thing is, I was getting pain relief, BUT, bed bound! Finally the neurologist came in and explained that they had some sort of mix up about him being called and he ordered some tests and give me some medicines. Sunday night, I was told I was going to stay the night again because the on call doctor wanted my regular OB to check me over Monday and see whether or not he wanted me to be released. I knew what would happen then. Monday morning, my OB comes in, sits on the foot of my bed, as he always does, and tells me that he would like to go ahead and do my c-section, as I expected. First reason, I was getting pain relief but he thought that delivering the baby would help! Second, I would have to come back in the following Monday for the section anyways! Third, Olivia was big enough and healthy enough to be fine! So, I said sure! I was scheduled for 2:30pm. *My OBs lunch hour at the office*.
Well, at 12:15pm, I go into labor. HA! Ironic, right? I labored, mildly, for almost an hour before they were ready for me. I got prepped and went into the OR. DH got all scrubbed up and waited for them to call him in. I'll spare the details, but, after 7 attempts at a spinal and 2 attempts at an epidural, *I found out later I have spinal stenosis* they decided to knock me out completly and poor dh didn't get to come in. My mother was FREAKING out in the hallway *since this is the same situation that happened with my first pregnancy*. Olivia was born at 2:42pm, April 3, 2006. She was healthy and screamed loud *so I'm told*. She was born with a head full of DARK hair and she waas a little diva from day one! I'll post some pictures of then and now!

^ Then.......

and Now

End of story!!
