Well i had been having touble with early labor and after all that carried her till 38 weeks. I was acutally due sept 11th. I woke up after having some contraction through out the night nothing major, i went pee and DH and I decided to DTD since at my last dr's appt they told me to, so i could try and go into labor since i was walking around 4cm dialated. Well that def worked about 20 minutes later i started having contractions and they were 2-3 min apart. This was about 8:30 in the morning, i stayed at home untill around noon when they were 1-2 minutes apart, the hospital is just a block away from my house since we are in navy housing. I got there and go checked in and into my room around 1. Things went pretty fast from there or at least it seemed like it. I was doing great untill i was about 8 1/2cm and Athena decided to flip around and the i started having back labor. I got the epi, and it eased everything but by the time it started to work i was pushing, she was born screaming at 6:27pm, and was what the call OP( face up) i had to have lots of sticthes because i had a 3rd degree tear. She was 5lbs 15.4oz and 18 3/4 inches long. Oh and i pushed for just under 30 minutes
It sounds like you had a pretty easy labor except for her doing the old flip-a-roo. Glad everything went well for ya. And she was a tiny little thing.
BTW, our LO's were born almost 2 hrs apart. Shannon was born at 4:44 pm. She was a pound heavier (6 lbs 14 oz) than your LO but Shannon was born at 36 weeks. She wasn't due until Sept 25th but I had pre-e so they induced me.
