Dr's office just called finally! (I've been so impatiently waiting) MY EDD is January 5th but she said my HCG was at 340. In the 4-6 weeks range! Is that a high number for me?

My doctor's office won't even see you until around 8 weeks, so, I am not sure on the early blood tests. The range sounds awesome though!

I am going to play dumb and tell my doctor I never got AF after having my IUD removed in February to see if I can get an early scan. My ob only does the 20 week scan unless there are issues. I feel a little bad, but I wank a sneak peek.

oh wow! My dr does a internal ultrasound on the first appointment. I don't blame you! I wouldn't want to wait that long either! May 22 seems far enough away!

Possible multiple pregnancy BUT then again all pregnancies are different. I have seen SINGLETON numbers to be this high and multiples to be lower

BUT that is one healthy bean!

Cd 1 was 3/30 and ovulated 4/9. My cycles are short (25 days) according to the dr and when my cycle started its 1/5/13. But they don't take into consideration early ovulation and short cycles.

In that case that number sounds perfect for where you are at. Mine was about that with Matthew and he was just one, even though it was an injectable/IUI cycle. Just a good strong number

Lurking, Sounds like a good number to me, mine with ds were on the high side too. We actually had others in my DDC that had numbers a little lower than mine who were having twins, but mine was just one happy little boy. Here is what mine looked like.

12 dpo- 115
14 dpo- 293
19 dpo-3,058
26 dpo-33,998

I don't remember my numbers with my first 2. But I had hypermeses with both and they said one positive point on that was that having high numbers might make me sick but it was a sign of a healthy pregnancy.

Oops I didn't see that there was already an HCG topic started. I just started a new one. I am new to these boards; please forgive me. I am wondering about multiples because after taking Clomid, the doctor said I had 3 mature follicles.

My HCG numbers are
14DPO 248
18DPO- 1436
20DPO- 3353

at 15DPO my levels were 300 and 17DPO they were 800.

Hope that helps! I go in for another blood test today so here's hoping my levels have doubled properly!
