Have you made any changes to your diet since finding out you are expecting?

I have been trying to increase my water, veggies and grains. I saw that a pregnant woman should have at least 6 grains (3 which are whole grains), 3 cups of fruit, 3 cups of veggies, 3 dairy products and 2 meat portions a day.

I do not eat anywhere near this amount of food and fear I will be the size of a house before the baby arives, but I am giving it a go. I am trying to eat more raw foods.

Chocolate keeps calling my name though, but doing pretty well on not giving in.

If I do drink soda it's caffeine free like Sprite, otherwise water all day long. Lately (prob last 2 weeks) I've had this overall need for veggies. Veggies and I don't usually get along but I just have this want for them so maybe I'll start eatting more salad.

I haven't changed much of anything besides cutting out coffee. And believe me my husband is about ready to move out because of that! He keeps saying "I can handle just about anything, but you without coffee...I just don't know.." Other than that I guess everything else is still the same, except that I have no appetite so I'm just nibbling on whatever looks halfway appetizing. Definitely shouldn't have had that sea monster po'boy last night..I can't stand the smell of fish all the sudden.

If you are craving veggies eat some frozen sweet peas. My MIL gave them to my kids as a snack and now I munch on them all the time. Not sure what it is, but they are tasty.
