Most people POAS and immediately call. This is what I did with my first 2. This time around I will call when I reach 6 weeks. I want to make sure I will be able to see the heartbeat in the first u/s if I get one.

I haven't called yet because last time I had to wait 12 weeks before I could get in anyway. I want to see the lines get darker over the weekend and I will probably call early next week

I don't have one yet. I'll be on Medicaid, and here, you have to go to the health department first for confirmation. After that, they'll send me to the high risk clinic. One has traumatized me for life (and even doctors told me that I should sue them), so I'll choose the other! Hahaha

I'm just nervous because I know that low progesterone has been a problem in the past, and if they refuse to see me until later, it might be too late. I'm not trying to be a downer, just concerned about the first appointment already! EEK!

I'll cry the whole time, I know. Hahahahaha

I think it's pretty typical to have to wait until 8-10, even 12, weeks until an OB will see you. I am going to have a viability U/S the first part of June. After that, I'll see when my midwife wants to see me next.

I didn't go in until almost 14 weeks with my last one because I couldn't find a midwife I liked.

With my first I called right away....with my miscarriage I called right away and then didn't see a heart beat because they said I had my dates missed, and had to go through the blood draw and for 2 weeks before I miscarried all I did was stress....I REFUSE to do that again.

I am waiting til around 6-7 weeks so when I go in I know 100% that day...if there is no heart beat then, I will know...that way I am not stressing again. I am just going to sit back, enjoy eating whatever I want whenever I want, be happy and stress free as a prego women and let nature take its course.
