Okay, I have to share...I took another test tonight and the line is darker...enough to get on camera! I have to share it!
I feel better now that it is darker and I actually have really good vibes about this pregnancy...which I did not have with my last one in January....so I am keeping positive.
I have decided not to tell my doctor yet, I want to wait to get my levels checked when I am more into the pregnancy....I will probably call in about 2-3 weeks around 6 or 7 weeks. Last time they had me do an ultra sound at 5 weeks and that is when there was nothing there, but it was still the "might to be long enough" to see anything and all that, and I just do not want to go through that again. I would rather know that I am long enough to see something and if we wouldn't see something, I would know right then something bad is going to happen....if that makes sense.
Right now...I am sitting back and enjoying being prego!
FWIW, those look like the walmart .88 cent tests- I got a bunch of those too, and my line started out super faint. The one I took tonight is darker but not dark like the control line. Its similar to yours. I'm wondering if this is a characteristic of this brand of test?
Awesome! Walmart has 88-cent tests? I had no idea! If it makes you feel better, too, I took 2 Dollar Tree tests that showed NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING! An equate test came up quick and dark! It definitely could be the brand you use. Equate and Target are always my go-to.
Also, are you wearing glitter nail polish? I love it!
Of all the tests I took on any given day, the Walmart ones were by FAR the lightest. I think they detect hCG at, like, 50 mIU versus some of the others (FRER, $ store, etc.) that start reading positive at around 25 mIU. It took forever for the Walmart test to give a good, readable-without-squinting line. And by forever, I mean, like, 3 days.
It's really hard to see in this pic, but the $ store and FRER tests both had a very visible line IRL whereas I had to squint at the Walmart test (this was about 10 DPO).
I took bunches of tests and started getting dark lines and my IC's never showed anything until the very last day I tested. My first response line was darker than the control line and the ic was barely there! Some tests just seem to not work as well. But then other people love them. I got my first faint line on a dollar tree test.
YES.....i found walmart has $.88 cent tests...can you believe it? They are in a big bin with like $.88 vag cream and stuff (lmao) hahaha. I only take $1 store ones and Walmart ones. The $1 ones never get too dark and the walmart ones are light too, from what I am seeing. I am not letting it bother me (too much) because any line is pregnant right?
EEEEKKKK....we are prego girls, now lets just hope they are stick stick stick!
