...the more sense my numbers and ultrasound make. 889 for 5 wks exactly isn't THAT low. It's above average for 4 wks 6 days, according to a few sites. If I'm even ONE day off on my LMP, that's a huge difference! And it seems to be extremely common not to see even a sac at 5 wks. The doc didn't mention a breakup of the uterine lining, so maybe that's all it is. My boobs still aren't sore again, I'm crampy, and I am exhausted. These things aren't all necessarily good or bad; they're just noticeable.

I'm really trying to be optimistic. I am also worrying myself half to death here. Hahahahahahahah There's no happy medium for early pregnancy, is there?

Google is my best friend and worst enemy.

I agree about google being your best friend and worst nightmare!

I think your #'s are just fine for 5 weeks. I know how hard it is to stay positive when things are up in the air. I will be praying you get good news whenever you have a follow up appointment.

If it were me (and I have a crappy history with loss and worry over everything) I would be happy with that number and not worried one bit that nothing was seen on U/S it's TOO early. Even at 6 weeks it's iffy as to what will be seen in a perfectly healthy pregnancy.

If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. She was our 8th loss Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn
There is no known explanation for my losses.

Everything you're saying makes logical sense to me. I will still cross my fingers just in case.

I hate the first tri!

I'm just keeping everything crossed. I need to step away from Google, though this time, it has been reassuring! I kept telling the doctor that it was too early, I wasn't positive about my LMP, etc. Ugh. This was the perfectly wrong time to go to the ER during pregnancy. Hahahaha

I wouldn't worry. Your numbers are fine and an u/s at 5 weeks is so super early. Try to relax. I'd bet everything is just fine!
