19 I guess I just wait for the bleeding to start... I am crushed... there is no way this is a viable pregnancy not with having faint positives since 8po and last test this morning looked like this..
15dpo

How far along do you think you are? 19 is actually still within the "normal" range for 5 weeks. I'm not trying to get hopes up for something that might not be there, but I also don't want you to rule yourself out based on one number. What did your doctor say? Hugs. I know that today is obviously a down day for you.

I agree. Are they going to do another draw?

On 1/31/12 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon.
If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn
There is no known explanation for my losses.

Agreed! You could still have a viable pregnancy with that number. Don't count yourself out yet and make sure they schedule another beta draw to check if it's doubling or not.

I'm sorry But like the other ladies said 19 isn't TOO low for only 15DPO. They are supposed to do them 48hrs later to make sure they are doubling that way you'll know if the pregnancy is progressing. I would demand another draw.

DEMAND A RE_DRAW!!! The only true way to tell is if the numbers DON"T climb in 48 hrs.

I'm still holding hope for you. Call them and get another blood draw in the morning.. PLEASE!!!!

I agree! 18 is the normal base range for 5 weeks pregnant! You're just about 4 weeks at 15 DPO. A single number doesn't really mean much. It's the comparison done after 48-72 hours that will show if the hormone is increasing. THAT is the result that matters.

I would call back and insist that they do another test. If they won't, switch doctors and have it re-drawn. I know that sounds extreme, but I am a huge advocate for patient rights and having a provider that is an active advocate for you. If they won't even take the 2 minutes to squeeze you in for a second draw, even if it's just to calm your mind, they are obviously not your advocates. A good doc will redraw the blood after 48 hours at your request (even though that is what they are supposed to do anyway, none of this wait a week B.S.).

Sorry to get worked up, but your doctor needs to accommodate you on this one. That's why they get paid the big bucks.

Take some solace in knowing that one "low" (read: normal) number doesn't really mean a thing. KUP on how you're doing. You're in my T&P!

I totally agree with Brittney. They should do one in 48 hours to make sure it's doubling. If they aren't going to do one, I would find someone new as well.
