7/5/12. I'm probably really wrong, but don't they give you the basics of the results right there on the spot?

7/9 here. They can discuss the US info but they combine the US with blood work results and those arent always available right away to come up with total risks. When I did this with my son I was in the office for a couple of hours, not sure if thats normal or they were slow

I have no idea...I'm still early to be talking about this. I have another JM friend who had hers yesterday (diff DDC), and she got the results within an hour. Good luck!

Mine is Thursday 6/21 and I will get the results from the ultrasound right away. I'm having it done at the high risk Dr not my Dr office. My blood work is 6/28 and that takes awhile to get back.

I decided not to get one with this pregnancy. I got one with my first because hubby has something he can pass to a child, but we talked and we do not care either way so we are just going to get the big u/s in Aug. With our first we just really didn't know and did everything offered especially to see the baby one more time!!!
we got our results right away, and the tech talked to us through the whole thing and was very reassuring how everything was "prefect" when measuring. It was really nice.
Good luck ladies, I am actually writing this jealous that ya'll get to see the babies again!

Mine is in a week. They give the u/s results the same day but the bloodwork takes a few days. If my bloodwork comes back bad again we will probably opt for the blood test that tests for downs. I was the 2% the misscarried after the CVS last time. Not risking that again.

On 1/31/12 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon. He was our 7th loss If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3 There is no known explanation for my losses.

Yes and my appt is on June 27th. I was told I would get the U/S results right there but the blood test takes about a week.

Mine is next week, Thursday. We wouldn't get it done, but the doc wants to use it for research, AND we want to get a peek at the wee one again!

I'm getting it done just for the u/s. I'm in the middle of switching Dr's and have my first appt with the new one next week. I will be able to set it up then if not get it done that day. The office where I'm going to is where my old office sent all of it's patients for u/s so maybe it won't be an issue.

I don't have a date yet, since my 1st appt isn't until July 2nd.
When I was pregnant with Savannah, I got the U/S results right away. The blood work took a week to come back and the nurse called me to tell me that everything was normal. If anything was abnormal they would have scheduled an appointment. The doctor also went back over the results at my next appointment, which I think was a month after the last appointment.

Well the u/s reults come in right away and the blood takes 5-7 days.
Baby looked great and they didnt see anything abnormal and everything fell within the normal ranges. She said I have 1 in 885 chance that the baby has downs and when the blood work comes back, if its normal, then the likelihood will probably decrease even more.
