I know, I know... super early... but some people start deciding at the beginning!

We picked out a boy and a girl name before DD was born, so if it's a boy we will probably stick with our boy name.

I don't even want to bring up girl names because he doesn't really like any of my girl choices.

Girl name. We just sort of came up with it a few years ago, when we first started trying. Boy name = nada. And we're not really thinking/talking about this yet...too early.

I feel like everything I answer lately is "We're not thinking about that yet, it's too early!"

We have a running list. Basically i write down all the names i really like, and then my husband will eventually go through and pretty much veto all the names because we will NEVER be able to agree on a name.

My husband and I have a list too, but he's pretty much decided. I feel like it's too early to have that choice made, so I keep looking, but he keeps shooting down everything else I come up with.

We have a VERY short list. Like two names a piece. If that! I keep joking that if it's another boy we'll name him Levi Gene...Gene is my husband's father's name so I thought it was kinda cute to pass it down...just not so cute when you combine it with Levi! I laugh like a crazy woman every time I say Levi Gene! (get it?!)

Girl name, one name sticks out that we've both liked for a while just are sure we are set on.

We've talked some and there is only about 2-3 boy names and 2-3 girl names we like but can't seem to agree on which one to use. We haven't talked about it much lately though. I'm sure we will before my 18wk scan or decide after.

I think I pretty much know the names I want for a boy or a girl, but my hubby is not in agreement. Only 6 months to convince him... haha

We've got a list going but won't decided till after we know what the baby is. We have also decided NOT to share the name of the baby 'till the baby is born!! We got soo much 'crap' about our sons name (Remington) because its so differant. So this time, instead of being 'pulled' by friends and family, it will be a secret. But heres what we have on the list:

Boy - Corbin, Ryker, Ryder, Torran, Sylus
Girl - Fiona, Kora Bella, Era Bella, Torie

I like the name Remington. We considered it. My family and DH's family prefer traditional names, so they wrinkle their faces every time we announced names, BUT, like you, we only announce names, or even what was in the running, after birth. We didn't even give hints about what names we considered until the birth certificate was signed!

We don't really have names picked out. Not at all. We have almost no boy names that we like. And for girls, we like Zia, Nova, Clover, Zora, etc. Not names that the families will like AT ALL.

Dear God I dread trying to name this squishy. My DH and I butted heads so much last time. If it's a boy, he wants Clark, because that's the last name of his best friend from high school. I hate it. This will not be a pretty battle. Plus our son has DH's middle name as his first name, I kinda feel like if he's (or she) named after someone it should be after someone on MY side this time.

I think we'll be doing this too. Just the few names we've thrown out everybody has an opinion on. I can see us just telling people we haven't picked anything out till we meet the baby. That's very us, and at the rate we're going it will still be known as Spike the Gummy Bear even into it's second month!!

I thought about not telling anyone the name until the baby is here as well... I had a friend that did that with her first child.

Honestly, I think whatever this baby is, boy or girl, and whatever it's formal name is, it will forever be known as Scooter.

Yep, my FIL already said "Well, whatever you are little one, Grandpa R***** will always call you Scooter!" And he will too. And as much as we talk to/about Scooter, I honestly think it will stick!

We like the name Peyton for a girl and Lane Alexander for a boy. I keep looking, but DH shoots everything else down.

I still need a middle name for Peyton. DH likes Layne, but I am not sure.

I love thinking of names but when we talk about which ones we like they all sound weird.

We have pretty much decided on Penelope Anne for a girl probably call her Penny.
Boy is a toss up between Owen Spencer, Grady Spencer.

We have a girl name set in stone, Ariel Anna. For the life of us we can't decide on a boy name. DH likes Tristin and I just can't make myself like that. We're thinking about Alec which I think is different because I don't know any Alec's. I'm hoping this peanut is a girl so we don't have to fight over a boy name!

Girls name we have down pat. Boys a little more difficult though. DH was surprised to hear that people give you opinions about names. I think he's just blocking out how obnoxious his own family is, but I don't expect we'll tell them anyway until the kid is born. Others I don't mind. Our names are fairly traditional so I can't see anyway making too big a stink. (And couldn't really care if they do. )
