What was going on in your life one year ago? Living in this house, having a pretty successful art career (more successful than now, but now I'm too tired to do anything, plus I have a PT job and a pregnant belly now) 29y/o

Five years ago? Living in this house, working at a full time job I hated, was more social going out with friends and to the beach and such. 25 y/o

Ten years ago? Just moved to my first apartment w/ best friend and working at said hated job, very social. 20 y/o

What was going on in your life one year ago? I was in a very bad place 1 year ago. I was really depressed and having a hiccup in my marriage. I was going out often with friends and drinking more (something I rarely did). I kind of sewed some wild oats last year. It wasn't good.

Five years ago? Five years ago I had just given birth the month before to my daughter. I was a stay at home mom to my 3 little ones.

Ten years ago? 10 years ago I was pregnant with my oldest son. We had just found out that he was boy. We were very excited! We lived with my parents then and DH worked full time in retail. I worked part time at a bank doing customer service.

What was going on in your life one year ago? My husband just returned from his first deployment. It was hard in the begining, the end, and the months to follow. The adjustment throughout the whole period is hard, well it was for us.

Five years ago? I was working full time as a FOH manager at a steak house and going to school full time. I was 21 and drinking a lot! By December of this year I hit my bottom and decided I need a change and decided to join the military.

Ten years ago? I was 16. I had nothing going on, haha. I was in highschool and I worked at Miller Park (baseball stadium) selling food up and down the stands!

1 year ago: I just moved across country and starting to get used to the Colorado way of life. (26 yrs)

5 years ago: I was in college studying at MSU to become an elementary school teacher. Enjoying life and living it up!! (22 yrs old)

10 years ago: I was in highschool without a clue in world about life. Living freely without any worries. I think I just about to get my first car! (17 yrs old)

What was going on in your life one year ago? I had a 4 month old and was struggling to adjust to being a working mommy and pumping at work. It was a tough transition for me.

Five years ago? DH and I were planning big projects for our new house. I also passed both of the actuarial exams that I sat for that year

Ten years ago? DH (then boyfriend) had just moved into the condo that we bought together. Later that year we got engaged, then soon after his national guard unit was called to go to Iraq.

What was going on in your life one year ago? I was living in Charleston with my dh and 2 kids and working from home for a non-profit, spending lots of time volunteering in the community, being with friends and loving being a mom and wife.

Five years ago? I had just moved to a new post and was getting ready for Justin's deployment to Iraq. Found out I was pregnant with Mercy after he left.

Ten years ago? I had just graduated from high school and was about to get married. (Yep. I got married at 18 Not for everyone but it was the best decision I ever made. )

This time last year we buried my father

5 years ago we still lived in this house, still had 4 kids and 2 cats. Not a huge change.

10 years ago this month I was a single mum with 3 kids under 7 years old, going to school and working 2 jobs. I met my DH 6 months later.

1 year ago wasn't too much different than now. I had one less pt job. I was working 3 days a week in my dad's landscaping office and doing heavy volunteer PTO work at my son's school. Kindergarten was a tough transition. We weren't loving school last year.

5 years ago my son was 2 so I was spending a lot of time on playdates at parks/mall/bookstore/library. I had been working for my dad almost 2 years....2 years after I quit teaching.

10 years ago I was 23. I was teaching students with learning disabilities (middle grades) full time. I had been married 3 years and been in the same house I live in now for 3 years. No kids yet so I worked a lot. Same church that we go to now....some of the same friends and a lot of new ones now! I think I had a really obnoxious dog 10 years ago. We had to get rid of her. lol

What was going on in your life one year ago? One year ago we were preparing the (now) five year old for his first day of preschool. I was a mess. I was also taking college classes!

Five years ago? Five years ago Riley was just an itty bitty thing! We lived in a different house (one that I actually like better than this one!), I was considering taking classes, just got glasses (for the third time!) and life was pretty easy! LOL

Ten years ago? Oh my, I don't even want to talk about ten years ago! I was 20, working in a factory (which I loved), partying all.the.time. Got pregnant in 2002 as well!!

1 year ago- I was in a very bad place. Getting over the break up with the love of my life and partying like crazy. The custody battle for DD started around this time. Not a good time in my life at all. (27)

5yrs ago- Was (I thought) happily married with a house and an almost two yr old. Working in a lab doing amazing research. Life was great and I had it all. At least until that xmas is when I found out my ex was sleeping with my best friend. (23)

10yrs ago- Was with my ex for 1yr by then and had just started working for a clone tech lab. Very exciting time in my life (18)

One year ago... Today, actually, I had the u/s where I learned our baby had died.... Tough time. We were transitioning to a new area which was hard on our oldest. My DH was living away from us most of the time.

Five years ago... My DS was just 11 days old. We were actually at my 10 year class reunion. I was teaching preschool, but was off for the summer.

10 years ago... I was at my wedding rehearsal!! DH and I have been happily married for 10 years tomorrow! So much has happened since then... At that time DH and I were looking for our first post-college jobs.
