I'm fat, my legs are swollen, none of my clothes fit, maternity clothes are too big...and not to mention ugly!! Ugh!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh..... :*( why don't they make a wide selection of stuff that's actually cute?? And seriously...pregnant people don't need skirts??? What is the deal?! Grrr...

I have been in your shoes since 8.5 weeks! I know exactly how you feel! Early on, I found one pair of cute shorts at Target (Liz Lange brand) that were maternity, but not with a full panel and were actually stylish! But I have to admit, I've said on numerous occasions, that the majority of maternity clothes aren't as cute as they could be!

I found some GREAT basics here (like my splurge on my leggings). Everything is basic, and the leggings that I have, while a titch big now, will easily fit me the entire pregnancy. If nothing else, it gets me through those icky days where I feel like you feel right now!

On 1/31/12 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon. He was our 7th loss
If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. She was our 8th loss Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn
There is no known explanation for my losses.

Agreed - i can't get over the price of maternity clothes. Luckily i've had a couple of friends who have lent me a bunch of clothes. I also bought some stuff from a second hand store, all of which was from Motherhood.

I also haven't been wearing pants. That seems to help a lot. I've really tapped into my arsenal of dresses and skirts, especially through this hot summer.

BAHAHA! I am laughing because I totally feel the misery in this post. Hair is a mess, need some sun.... I don't "feel" fat but nothing fits like it used to or how it should. Maternity wear in in short supply in my closet and adjusting my hairtie/pant button everytime I go to the bathroom puts it all in perspective!!

Let's all try to get a little pampering done by Monday and report back.

Is this the frustrating time with pregnancy? I don't look pregnant and at the same time my normal pants just don't fit anymore. It's just a frustrating in between time for me!

I just went to Motherhood Maternity this past weekend and got some super cute shirts for fall! And, maybe I'm strange, but I love wearing maternity clothes. I actually have a belly going and got some cute capris at Kohls. Sorry you're feeling icky!

Ive been having really good luck with 2nd hand stores and clothes... Even just going a few sizes bigger, Im still able to wear some cute skirts and such....

But I feel gross, so I know what you mean, my skin is gros, my hair is flat, and I feel like a bloated blimp, not a pregnant lady...

Sorry you're feeling so crummy

I most certainly feel your pain. I have one pair of maternity capris and one pair of maternity shorts, 2 skirts, and otherwise I have NOTHING to wear on my bottoms! Jeans don't have a chance of fitting, even with the hairtie button, and honestly I haven't really gained much so it makes no sense why!

Also I VERY badly need a haircut, but my hair is already pretty short so either I go short short again or I attempt to grow it out (which really if I remember correctly never looks good anyways). So that's a bummer decision I have to make soon. Coupled with my forehead breaking out with random bumpiness I just give up on ever trying to look good!

This weekend maybe I'll make it a "me" weekend, go shopping, and get my hair done. Let's see if I can find time..

I'm a little fluffier around the waist and am already in maternity pants. I bought 2 pairs from H&M and they are amazing, they also have really cute stylish maternity clothes for a good price.

I have been impressed with maternity clothes at Motherhood. They are all comfy and really stylish. Or, maybe I am not stylish so I just think they are. Some of the big stores have nothing but hideous items. I'm struggling because I'm inbetween. I'm wearing the maternity pants, but have a hard time keeping them up!
